Annual PCCNO Summer BBQ

Plan on joining us at the MapleSoft centre for our annual BBQ event on Friday, June 15th beginning at 4PM. This our last event before we break for the summer and best of all, it's free!! just bring your lawn chairs and your appetite

Ride for Dad Honour Guard - Saturday June 2nd

PCCNO will once again form an Honour Guard of Prostate Cancer Survivors at the starting point for the 2018  TELUS Ride for Dad event, Saturday June 2nd, beginning at 8:30AM, until approximately 9:30AM at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum. This is a fun morning that requires absolutely no skills whatsoever, other than being able to wave and cheer as the riders pass by as they hit the road. Check back soon for more details

Waller St. Brewing "Flights for Hope" donation to PCCNO

In November, the good folks at Waller Street Brewing selected PCCNO as the recipient of their latest "Flights For Hope" fundraising event. Known as "Ottawa's tiny little Prohibition Craft Brewery", the Waller Street Brewing team (Marc-Andre and Marie-Eve Chainey, Eli Dagher and George Bush) believe that being part of a community means taking part and giving back which includes supporting local causes and events. Flights for Hope is their way of helping out some of the smaller local charities, non-profits, and other fund-raising efforts.

Christina Tomei, a Ph.D. student of clinical psychology, is assisting with a study on psychotherapy to decrease fear of cancer recurrence for men and women with cancer.

The therapy will take place at the Ottawa Hospital, General campus, and will last for 6 weekly 1.5 hour sessions. For more information, visit
