Our next member's meeting is Thursday, January 19th,and will be held at our usual location (St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 930 Watson Street).
The first part of the evening will serve as our Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will include a financial report and elections for the Executive Committee positions for the coming year. For the second part of the evening we will be joined by Rocco Rossi, CEO of Prostate Cancer Canada who will update us on all the activities, initiatives, research projects etc. that PCC is involved in. Members will also get an opportunity to ask Rocco any questions that are on their minds.
Monthly meetings start at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month (except for July & August) at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 930 Watson Street, Ottawa, Ontario. Follow the Queensway to the Pinecrest Exit, proceed north past the traffic lights to St. Stephen's Street on the left. Parking is available at the rear of the church.
All are welcome; there is no admission fee but a contribution of non-perishable food to the St. Stephen's Food Bank is appreciated. Please bring one or more items of non-perishable food as a contribution to our host.
These evenings include presentations on prostate cancer topics and a chance meet with other prostate cancer patients/survivors. We welcome your questions or suggestions.
6:15 p.m. Members/guests arrive; coffee and light snacks.
6:30 p.m. The Friendship Circle is an informal chance to chat, ask questions, make a statement, tell about something exciting that's happened to you, and so on.
7:15 p.m. PCCN Ottawa business.
