Warriors Group

Dan Faber

Dan Faber, the leader and innovator who led our Warriors+1 group passed away while in hospice care on May 4th. Dan was a great supporter of PCCNO who, along with his wife Michelle, revitalized the Warriors group by taking them on interesting adventures and introducing them to new and innovative alternative and complimentary treatments. To say he will be missed by all of us is an understatement. For the time being the Warriors+1 group activities have been curtailed until such time as we can find a volunteer to take up where Dan left off.

If you are dealing with recurrent cancer issues and wish to talk to someone in PCCNO please see our contact info on our main page.

The Warriors serve many important needs of PCCN Ottawa members who have hormone refractory advanced prostate cancer - cancer that has escaped the gland or shows evidence of recurring following primary therapy. Partners of these men are also welcome. For our next meeting date and subject, check here. The Warriors are a caring and compassionate group, focused on sharing knowledge and experience in the management of their advanced disease. They provide personal support for each other with quality of life issues.
