Speaker - Cathy Pearcy is the Community Engagement Coordinator for Osteoporosis Canada. Cathy has been with the organization for 11 years. First as the Education Coordinator for the Peterborough Chapter. In this role she facilitated support groups for individuals living with osteoporosis, and provided education to the general public on bone health and raising the awareness of osteoporosis.

PCNO provides support to two The Ottawa Hospital Projects.

The PCNO BOD approved a total of $30,000 during the July 8, 2021 Board of Directors Meeting to support two Prostate Cancer related research projects being run by the Ottawa Hospital.

A brief description of the two projects has been provided by DR Luke T. Lavallée MDCM FRCSC, from the Ottawa Hospital.

DARE TO FLASH A STACHE 2021

It’s time to “Dare to Flash A Stache”. This event is hosted by the Black Walnut Group, of the greater Winchester area, supported by Prostate Cancer Network Ottawa.

This year we are encouraging individuals, businesses, organizations, local groups, companies, and families to raise funds for two local programs. The monies raised will be shared equally between the WDMH Foundation (Winchester District Memorial Hospital) and The Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
