I’m an Oncologist, Associate Professor of Medicine, who leads a registered Canadian charity, HealingandCancer.org. I’m excited to partner with a Psychotherapist and a Hospital Chaplain in offering the Spirituality and Cancer ‘Skills for Healing’ Online Weekend Retreat to be held from Friday evening December 4 to Sunday afternoon December 6, 2020.
This weekend seminar will empower you with knowledge, teach you essential healing skills, and provide an opportunity for you to connect with your own healing potential. Through experiential exercises and both small and large group discussion, you can facilitate healing at levels of body, mind and spirit. See poster below or visit HealingandCancer.org/SCR for more.
The feedback from our first Spirituality and Cancer Retreat in 2019 was overwhelmingly positive. Thirty four participants describe a powerful healing atmosphere, and rated the entire retreat an average score of 9.6/10.
“Incredible! This has been the best thing I have done for myself since my cancer diagnosis. It has helped me understand my fears and know what I need to do when I return home. Thank you!” ~ Retreat Attendee
“A very sincere thank you for taking me on an extraordinary journey in the amazing retreat! I feel that I am now starting out on my on personal journey of healing. I will be forever grateful to you all!” ~ Retreat Attendee
We want to reassure you that we will not be pushing our beliefs on you. The retreat is very welcoming and inclusive of diverse perspectives. We’ll aim to create an atmosphere of respect and openness - while learning the practical ways to empower yourself after a cancer diagnosis.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you for sharing this email, poster and HealingandCancer.org/SCR with all those in your cancer community.
